I wish you all well in your search. I'm 62 and have been searching since I was 21. Finally last year I found out my birth name. No leads after that since there are no papers. At least I now have a name,-that's something. I feel like the same girl I was at 21 wanting to know where I came from. Now I just want to know before the end.

Hey do you have a Facebook group page? I looked but couldn't find one. I posted your site on my profile page to try to get the word out.

Dear Captain,I'm not a serviceman but I greatly appreciate your service -on my garage door is a 10 foot banner "Thanks a lot ,Vets"...I also much appreciate ur efforts on behalf of all(I'm an adoptee)and am considering reaching out to my birth Dad (He left his name with the N.Y. Foundling Home )but have some concerns ie.'How can I do it so it doesn't compromise his life?"..ur thoughts would be valuable ...Mike 201 693 0069

U.S. Navy 1987-1990 Our Lady of Victory adoptee Lackawanna, NY 1969-present Thank you for this organization. It brings together the two most influential forces on my life: closed adoption and military service. BTW, three years after I got out, my amother told me my first father was in the Navy.

Your op. ed. in Stars and Stripes was eloquently concise and logical. May you continue to be a refreshingly convincing voice of reason in the midst of this chaos.

I'm not military, but thank you all for your courageous service to our country and freedom! I am a 47yo adoptee searching for the TRUTH, and support all that seek truth, justice and freedom. I would also add that my adoptive father served in Germany after WWII as chaplain's assistant in the Army, as well as my uncle who served in WWII.

I am an Adoptee, and the Nevada Rep for the AAC. I petitioned, and was granted, access to all my adoption records. My birth father was in the Air Force in WW11.
