I'm not in the military but wanted to show my support 200%!. I'm a mother of adoption loss, lost my daughter in '80 and reunited in '02. I'm sick and tired of the industry hiding behind the skirts of mothers like me. I searched for my daughter for 4 yrs before finding her. I would've been thrilled if she had been able to find me.

to cpt peter franklin, my son was born in elmendorf hospital anchorage,alaska july31st.1960 and was given up for adoption first part of june 1961,was10m0 old.was told the records are sealed and theres no record of him ever being born,or of me in the hospital at that time.just like it never happened.was through the state of alaska.we were stationed at fort richardson alaska at the time,my husband was u.s army.thanks nettie

I am a birthmother,and i think all adoptees should have acess to their birth records.enough of the secrets and lies.there is no shame in being an are all beautiful people and should be proud of yourselves.i loved mine and always will but he turned 50yr.old july31,2010 and i still havent found him,still hoping and praying.
